MY TEACHER
An appeal to my fellow teachers…
Stop grumbling
Stop thinking for ourselves
Stop making a fuss
Start doing what we are supposed to be
doing
Start making sense to our children
Start practicing deeds befitting
our noble profession
Start educating
with practical skills, fine manners, generosity and grace.
Start being a
teacher whose art is effective because
of our love for children and passion to
share with others
Start being ….
Not only an
enthusiast of nature and a practitioner of culture
But also …
A story teller that fascinates and
a historian that narrates
An inventor that arts and a scientist
that simplicates
A realist in life and a leader that
inspires
A doctor that heals and an engineer that
creates
A father that motivates and a mother
that loves
Simply said…
Start being
THAT teacher
who perseveres rain and shine
whose wisdom knows no bound
and will always be fondly remembered as
MY TEACHER all through the time
